Feedback on Character Voice and Realism in Battlefield

I do not know why this is so controversial.  I am a fully grown man, and I enjoy playing first person shooters.  Especially Battlefield games, until now.

Being forced to play Battlefield as a woman is beyond ridiculous.  How absurd this feels to me is hard to overstate.  This is a premium military shooter game, not a free-to-play game.

The most obvious place where this is so weird is when I get shot and call for assistance.  Why on earth can't the voice THAT I HEAR be a gender of my choosing?  My own gender maybe.  My body, my choice.

Nope, if I want help I am forced to lie there and scream as a woman, literally.  Is this a troll on men?  It kind of feels like it as the seconds tick by and I scream like a girl again.  This is a game-design choice by people at EA Games, and a terrible one to be honest.

It's bad enough that so many of the other voices I hear running around are female voices, and this sounds like no military movie I have ever seen.  It really breaks the realism and in-game immersion.  It's like the developers either do not care that this does not sound realistic, or the right people are not being consulted about how to make a military battle soundtrack.  Either way, this game really sucks.

It can't be just me.  How hard is it to add configurable or selectable voice audio tracks?  How hard is it to allow men to be men when we buy the game on day one?  Bad game-design choices feel like they are trolling me on purpose and makes me not want to play.

Just let me play the game as myself and be done with the agenda please.
