It is just a game. When you pay 100 bucks for a game, you should be able to play it the way you want to. Just play multiplayer without bots if that is what you choose to do and quit complaining about how others choose to play.
The issues you mentioned can be solved simply by having two separate progression systems and not merging bot kill data with multiplayer kill data. However, what I want to discuss is the game’s unlock system—especially the painfully slow progress for weapon attachments and class missions. It’s even more difficult than in previous Battlefield titles. Do you really like missions that require getting 150 headshots on players from over 200 meters away? Do you really like needing to kill more than 3,000 players to unlock all attachments for a single weapon? And this isn’t even the progress for bot modes; in bot modes, you’d need to kill 10,000 AI opponents! Is this even reasonable?
