I have been a Battlefield player since the beginning. My 2 favorite ones were Battlefield: Vietnam and Battlefield: 2142, both of which we can no longer play. But Vietnam was my absolute favorite. Here is the reason why: You gave us the ability to completely customize how we played offline. We didn't have to unlock weapons or attachments. If I wanted to play by myself and make it 100 to 1, I could. That was fun and I really enjoyed it. We were able to make a server, invite our friends and play how we wanted to play. Maybe a couple of human players vs a whole bunch of hard bots or even teams filled out with bots. Either way, we could do it how we wanted. You PROMISSED us that again with the new portal, but you have now taken all of that away. I had 2 published portal servers that I would either play by myself or invite a friend, and we could have fun. Yes, I was pissed that you took away the full progression on weapons, again you promised we would have, but I was having fun playing against the bots. I really do not enjoy playing PVP due to the fact that i am older now and my reflexes aren't what they use to be. I don't enjoy walking around a corner and getting gunned down before i can even do anything about it. I don't enjoy losing a gunfight that I initiated, and I am hitting them the entire time only for me to get killed because they are using a shotgun or a faster gun than me. All of this is why I enjoy the portal. But now with the 1st season coming out, I cannot even do that anymore. You took away the bots that were on my published server. What is the point of portal if we cannot use it how we want to use it? I am requesting that you immediately give us back full control of bots at the very least. Even a reduced progression on weapons and attachments on our portal servers would be welcomed. Please don't ignore this.
