Help with permanent bans due to lack of knowledge of the rules
Subject: Humanitarian request for account review: Unintentional first-time mistake on a birthday gift game (Battlefield 2042 case).
Dear EA / Terms of Service Team
,I am writing this letter out of deep frustration and sadness, as a last resort to request that a human being reviews my case instead of an automated system. I know my account has previous rejections, but I beg you to take two minutes to read what actually happened.
This game was a very special birthday gift for me. I have always been a clean player; I have never used hacks, scripts, cheats, or any third-party software to alter the game. My EA history has been spotless for years. My mistake was joining a community server from the game's official tab (Portal) that allowed playing against bots.
When I saw my weapons leveling up, I assumed in good faith that since it was an official feature created with EA's own tools, it was completely legal. I never knew this was considered "stat padding" or an exploit, as the game did not show any warning when entering the server.
It was a mistake out of pure ignorance of the community guidelines, not an act of malice to ruin other players' experience.I understand rules are rules, but a direct permanent ban for an involuntary first-time offense on an in-game community server feels completely disproportionate. I feel like I lost a deeply valuable gift over a mistake I made with absolutely no bad intentions.
I am not asking you to overlook my mistake. I am willing to accept any fair alternative punishment: I accept a complete reset of all my account progress to zero (a rollback), or a temporary suspension for several weeks or months. Please, just don't take the game away from me permanently.I earnestly ask for a second chance and a manual review of my history so you can verify I am not a cheater.
I just want to be able to play legitimately again.Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
Greetings from Argentina
