9ba684ce0ba8f4b4 well you're kinda right. One of The massive core issue stems from full crossplay (xbox, Playstation, steam/Pc) the game simply cannot handle all of the cross connections.
Another issue stems from players with bad connections or pings
The rest of the issues is server side
Oh and high fire rate weapons the game cannot keep up with the calculations as they are too fast for it
ive been investigating hit registration since BF4 in this game nearly 40% of shots arent registering in multiplayer and up to 45% in redsec

You're almost getting it. Now add variable pings that continuously change, then add in 64 different distances from the location of the server, then add in the hundreds of actions occurring every second in every match, throw in some destruction and visual fx and then think about just how complex it is to make an online shooter like battlefield play as well as it does and thank the gaming gods for the coding wizards who make it all possible.

HappyOz99 everything you're naming is server side... of course we're grateful for the game however With Dice being aware of the massive issue there should be hit registration improved increments in every single update. They shouldn't have to continue to evaluate and watch it they have to realize the majority of the issues are server side and work on fixing server side failures. As for players with horrendous connections they can't really do anything about their connection which also causes hit reg failure so they should be kicked
