How to edit the profile in game on BF6 if I bought the game on steam?

As the question asks I am wondering how on earth to edit the profile character because right now it is it is some guy with a shaggy hat and a face mask and I cant find anything anywhere on how to cha...

    In the same boat, my in game character profile is the default hat black guy and no where or option to change it, can change everything else though (badges, icons, cards etc)

      Exactly same for me and I would love to change it but for the life of me I cant figure out how

        Yes. I'm white on any game I play because I am white.. I'm 42 years old... I don't care if people think I am racist for wanting a white character... Let them be salty...

      Go to loadouts. Bottom left. For xbox it was hold x to reset. Press left stick to highlight on profile.
