I’d love to see a modern take on Amiens make a comeback. For me, it’s one of the most iconic maps in the entire Battlefield series. It had everything: perfect flow through the city with bridges, alleys, and open squares, chaotic close-quarters combat, but also long sightlines for snipers and room for vehicles. Every class had its place — assaults blasting through buildings, supports and medics working the flanks, even tanks had impact without feeling overpowered. And the atmosphere… that destroyed city full of rubble and smoke really made you feel like you were in the middle of the war.
My idea would be Amiens in a modern, abandoned setting, like the city decades later. Not World War I this time, but crumbling high-rises, overgrown streets, maybe half-collapsed office blocks ready to be blown apart. With Battlefield 6’s destruction system, this could be insane — entire streets transforming into ruins, walls collapsing mid-fight, every round feeling different because the environment evolves with the battle.
I’ve even put together some concept images (see below 👇). For me, this would be the perfect way to combine that classic BF atmosphere with modern destruction and a fresh, gritty look.
What do you guys think — would this work in BF6?
