If you were a part of the BF4 military simulation scene back in the day you'll remember just how amazing the times we spent together were, truly some of the best gaming memories I've ever had and the friends I made then remain to this day almost a decade later. 

At the height of the group I led had we were around 200 strong, able to get about 20-25 into a server at any given time. Nowhere near the 64-128 that some of the biggest units in the community like 1stFR, 4ID, or RMC could pull, but enough to have some truly mindblowing skirmishes in the tactical teamwork orientated milsim style. The feeling of seeing a server fill with our group's tags as a battle was about to begin was only eclipsed by the intense combat soon to follow. This is the way BF4 could be experienced at it's best. 

With BF6 and unlike any title since BF4 I truly feel like Battlefield IS. BACK. The time is now to begin organizing ourselves to create the next generation of community experiences and create a whole new wave of memories and friendships we can remember forever.  Let's do this together. 

Back in the day with my unit I had built the following:
-A comprehensive 3 session basic combat training system (v4) that most players found fun and engaging whilst being introduced to the concept and headspace of milsim. Mandatory for all new recruits.
-A specialized "Royal Guard" special mission unit dedicated to frontline combat and ceremonial roles, with unique weaponry privileges.
-A special forces component called "Alpha Group" with a rigorous training and selection process for players above the cut of the rest. 
-An efficient command structure with a promotion system designed to engage members and give them a sense of purpose as well as something to strive for. Promotions given based on accomplishments instead of time in the unit.  
-A commendations, awards, and stat tracking database for members to be commended for outstanding performance as well as to instill a sense of pride in their "milsim career".

Battlefield is just a game, of course. But with these systems going further than typical clan style units do we create experiences that make Battlefield something special you can't get anywhere else. With this new game and all of the new opportunities it brings for this style of playing, I want to not only revive the systems of old but expand and make reality all of the great ideas we had in the past to do it even better.
