Improvement Suggestion for BF6 gameplay

I have been a fan of the battlefield series since the days of BF4. Some of my favourite games of the series has to be either BF4 or late BF2042. I enjoy battlefield because of the stunning graphics and good gameplay with tanks, planes and new mechanics. 

BF6 vs BF2042

In my opinion, I find it difficult to like BF6 and it feels like a downgrade from other battlefields including late 2042. Battlefield 6 just doesn't feel the same, it feels too rushed or too small maps or no gun balance. I also find that BF6 is unrewarding if you don't get kills, whereas in 2042 you could get class mastery by doing related tasks such as spotting a lot of enemies to get a tier 1 mastery which meant something back then. 

I feel if there was a better reward system that properly rewarded background tasks it would give you a reason to play as a team. For example, if you repair a vehicle all game you'll get some xp but not much because you didn't get any kills but helped your team win. Or a recon who only spotted enemies with a drone all game can get lots of assists and OK xp but could deserve more or even a badge like 2042 mastery. Having gadget, grenade, class mastery would definitely make the game more playable with more players occupying those background roles which are crucial to the front line players.

The current casual breakthrough mode is mid compared to 2042 bot modes which did include bot conquest and an all bot game. I found the bot games to be really useful for practising vehicles, exploring maps and grinding out a weapon. I can see why BF6 doesn't have this mode due to players completely levelling up a weapon which is fair enough but it did have reduced xp to counter this problem and it made 2042 fun. The BF6 bot mode has bots but 8 real players which the majority of the games they are level 300+ which doesn't give a great experience for a new player and even frustrates seasoned players like me dying to a experienced level 500 farming kills. Making the bot mode avaliable to level 15 and under is not the solution, making a full bot mode is with reduced xp. It makes the game have that playground mode which every battlefield had before it instead of loading up a portal game with 0 xp progression. 

Lastly for this section, flares. In 2042 when you deploy the flares it would rapidly launch multiple flares then launch them in a series for about 5 seconds which gave you a chance to get away from any AA. In BF6 flares are awful, they rapidly launch and then that's it, I know you can't lock on to a vehicle after launching flares but I could be in a long drawn out air to air battle but then get destroyed by a SPAA which ruins the whole air to air dynamic. Air vehicles have been relatively ineffective due to the flares, you have to fly low and avoid air to air combat otherwise you'll get deleted by AA. 

Vehicle and weapon suggestions

BF6 has a good selection of vehicles and weapons and a lot of attachments which wasn't majorly present in previous battlefields. I like how you can customise every everything about your gun such as lasers, muzzle devices, etc. Vehicles can also be customised such as the main battle tank which you can choose your main shell and secondary shell. However, jets do not have this customisation you are given either AA missiles and bombs (fighter jet) or bombs and air to ground missiles (attack jet). It takes the multi-role idea out of the planes and the bombs are really that effective I find. 

What could be changed with the jets? I think adding the A-10 which could be coming in season 3 but it has to have weapon customisation such as having rockets or AGM or even AA missiles, it really adds that multi-role attack that battlefield 6 needs. I did like how 2042 did the A-10 with different upgrade modules and I would like to see that with other jets and the new A-10. 

Weapon balance is a common subject in BF6 feedback. I find that some weapons are awful and not worth using and some weapons are amazing in every scenario. If weapons were more purpose orientated such as a better M60 or nerfed mini scout (stop using it in CQB) it would give classes their responsibility or players a chance to use different weapons for different missions. LMG's don't really serve the suppression role and you're better off using an assault rifle if you want to do the same job. Some carbines like the M417 A2 is rubbish and is not a battle rifle. There are a lot of usable weapons and even if they are half ok you need to grind out all the achievements which is very difficult. 

Gameplay improvements

BF6 gameplay feels rushed and poor map rotation and dying feels like you are sent back to the main menu a little. I would like to see more ways to spawn in such as improving the transport heli (goated in 2042) or making the transport jeep a bit better with more protection and the ability to customise the turret gun. However I do like how the deploy beacon works because it effectively can be a great attacking or defending tool. What if there was a better deploy beacon that the whole team could spawn on? Keeping the squad beacon but have this beacon take longer to deploy on and larger for balance, just a idea. 

I would also like to mention the change to the defibrillator which has completely ruined it. Previously you could use the defibrillator as you wanted, small recharge but you could use it infinity. Now, the defib has 3 uses which you have to wait for a new charge to regenerate every 3 seconds, this nerfs dedicated medics and makes it even harder to get xp, If BF has nerfed the defib because of it's combat potential, they are wrong. No one used the defib as a main weapon, yes it does get you a kill but there's no need to nerf it. Please change the defibrillator how it was because it was very good to use and it had a great purpose.

I love battlefield but its not that good at the moment but like most things nothings perfect however things improve by listening to the fans who regularly play the game so make sure to take in other people ideas and feedback.

    mazisbad7​ I think the idea of adding the A-10 is a really good one, especially if it comes with proper customization options. That would make jets feel much more versatile and closer to the multi-role gameplay Battlefield is known for.

    The same goes for light vehicles — having more customization, like different turret options, would definitely improve their usefulness and give players more freedom depending on their playstyle.

    About the defibrillator, honestly I’m kind of in between. I actually think the new system feels closer to the older Battlefield games, which is a good thing. It brings back a bit more balance and makes the role feel less abusable.

    That said, I would slightly increase the recharge speed to find a better middle ground. It would still prevent spam but wouldn’t punish dedicated medics too much.
