You just aren't positioning or playing tactically well. You can't expect to plop down with an MG in some over-exposed, obvious place and wipe the 30 soldiers rushing you with grenades, smokes, multiple alleyways, etc. That wouldn't work in real life either. You should try to set up to the side of an open "death zone" and/or keep your head down more.
Work on your crosshair placement, common-sense, awareness, using cover, pieing angles, etc. Also, awareness is one of the few things that may actually improve with age, and that is very important in this type of game, while reaction time is less important.
P.S. accuracy while moving is already quite penalized, and a slower playstyle combined with basic FPS fundamentals is extremely strong.
