Linking/Unlinking Account

Since you're able to log into the EA account and there's no ban or suspension on the account. Perhaps the six month wait restriction is preventing the account unlink.
According to EA there's only four restrictions that prevent account unlink.
- Bans
- Suspensions
- Disabled account due to inactivity
- Six month wait on newly linked accounts
It would suck to wait six months and still not be able to unlink the account because something else is preventing it. Unfortunately there's no error message specifying why the account unlink is failing.
I'd keep asking EA support to unlink the account. If they can't do it then that leaves waiting six months or creating a new Xbox account.
The support keeps telling me there is a ban and that's why they cant assist but i have no way of appealing the ban even when going Through the normal means https://help.ea.com/en/customer-care/
Once i get to the end where i can see on my actual EA account i should be able to click on contact advisor through email. That on this secured account is not there to click but when telling the support this they just keep telling me that they cannot remove the ban if they where able to remove the ban they would by now then im back to square one. i guess i can wait 6 months but by the sound even if the website is not showing it

Try downloading your EA account data. If the account is banned it should show up in the account data.
So I downloaded the File and there is definitely a Active Ban on the account.
From what i can see the Ban was Issued for Apex in 2023-10-27.I don't know what to do about this now tho
Since the banned EA account can't be unlinked from the Xbox account. The only option left is to create a new Xbox account.
