Lock-On Missiles Ignore Flares
There is currently a major issue with lock-on missiles ignoring flares.
Right now, it feels like there is roughly a 30% chance for any lock-on missile, no matter if it’s from a MANAD, MAA, jet etc....

This is wrong. I dare you to spend more than 10 hours this week flying an air vehicle. I guarantee you will experience the bug. The IGLA will blatantly go through flares, if you haven’t seen this when using it I don’t know what to tell you - you’re either delusional or you want the IGLA to be bugged because you hate pilots.
I personally used it a tiny bit and got to experience the bug myself when I shot the IGLA at a heli and the heli clearly popped flares yet my IGLA hit.
The description says you can reacquire the target mid flight which means that once you lock, shoot and flares are completely dispensed and NO LONGER ACTIVE you can re-lock the target and the missile will find its way to the target (assuming the missile didn’t explode).
Lastly, the initial acceleration buff is a huge buff overall. There’s more maps with small airspace than there is with big airspace, this is a huge buff to every single map where there are helicopters that fly close to infantry.

Community Managerbrrtlol Hey, so I wanted to see if you could possibly capture a video of this happening, so I can pass it along. Something like this would have to be looked at from the studio side of things vs a troubleshooting step that could fix that. If there is an issue, they would be able to see it way better than going into the settings and making a few changes, etc,
It happened to me 4 times in one game and all I really do is fly in this game. Seems to be an issue when you’re relatively close to the person launching the missile. I’ll pop flares a solid 1-2 seconds before it’s supposed to reach me but it’ll go through. I’ll try and screen record this happening cause it’s almost guaranteed to happen every game especially on a map like golmud.
