Logitech Extreme 3D Pro not working for Battlefield 6 PC

The game maps out the joystick in the setup, HOWEVER, the throttle registers as up, even when I'm going down with it.  Either way, it registers the opposite direction on the other bindings, so theoretically it should work.

I get in a chopper in game and the throttle doesn't work.

I've seen people have success with this joystick but it won't work for me.  Perhaps I need a new one?

I'm running windows 11 but am using the windows 10 driver, because that's the only one close to 11and it's supposed to work.

Someone who has gotten it to work please give me a step by step.

YES!  I did find out how to fix it.  For me it was a setting in STEAM.  If you use STEAM, do this:

    1. Click the steam button in the top left corner of the app
    2. Click "settings"
    3. Click "controller"
    4. Click "enable steam input for generic controllers"
    5. You're done!  You can also use this for an xbox controller as there is an "enable steam input for xbox controllers" option.

    I hope this helps!

  • BF6 doesn't even take remapping input from my Extreme 3D Pro joystick. Google suggests there is no native support, but it does provide some options for workarounds that require 3rd party software such as vJoy, joystick gremlin, etc. And another that requires 3 others x360ce (xbox controller emulator), HIDhide, ViGEmBus. This requires installation in a specific order apparently, though it doesn't specify the order.

The 2nd option would be best I think because my xbox controller works nicely, but my Thrustmaster joystick mapped using the in-game settings, actual flight with the heli is FUBAR. Pressing forward makes me go backwards and pressing backwards does nothing.

If I get it to work, I'll update this. I will say, even with a recognized joystick, I would use x360ce to remap it. The supported way is bugged.

  • Mine behaves exactly the same maps controls but just sits there did you find a work around?
