Make Patches Faction-Specific

I’d like to suggest a small change to how patches work in Battlefield 6: make certain patches faction-specific instead of having the same patch appear on both NATO and PAX Armata.

For example, I really like the “NATO HUNTERS” patch and would like to use it when playing as NATO. However, because patches are currently universal to both factions, that same patch can appear on my character when I’m playing as PAX.

That I think creates a bit of an immersion problem.

If I'm PAX and I'm wearing the patch, it doesn't really make sense. Even though it's a small cosmetic detail, these are exactly the kinds of details that help make Battlefield's factions feel distinct and believable. Even though it's a small detail, it matters.

    Thanks for sharing this suggestion.

    I can see the immersion argument here, especially considering how strongly the campaign and wider Battlefield 6 story distinguish NATO and PAX Armata as opposing factions.

    The “NATO HUNTERS” patch is an interesting example as the wording itself could potentially be interpreted in more than one way, but I understand the broader point you're making about keeping faction identities visually distinct.

    I don't have any information about possible changes to the current customization system, but thanks for taking the time to explain the idea and the reasoning behind it.
