My problem is they know how much XP the farmers got, and yet didn't do a rollback or anything.
They're pretty much saying if there is an exploit, then exploit the bojangles out of it while you can because there will be no repercussions.
I don't hate the leveling grind, I just hate how you can't build your weapon to match your playstyle until you've used it so much you get tired of it. All attachments should unlock by 20, MAYBE level 30. Having to wait until what, level 35 to get the suppressor on the SV makes me want to bash my head against the desk.
Yeah it's complete nonsense the suppressors are sometimes at such high levels. It's like they think we got nothing better to do than shoot thousands of players/bots for a NEEDED ATTACHMENT. And then if you have all unlocked, you move on to the next weapon, because you are already bored by it. It's such a crappy gameplay loop.
It's like none of them knows how to make a game fun. What they could do, is to grant us weapon XP that we can choose to use to upgrade weapons ourselves. So the XP becomes more like a currency and then we can choose what we can unlock, it doesn't even have to be tied to a specific weapon. Imagine you could farm weapon XP currency with your M4, but you could spend it on the DB-12 or a pistol. That way we could choose how to play and still progress in a normal way. It would be much better. But none of them care about the players and what they want.

This summarizes perfectly my problem with this. It was already bad with the super T1 grind in 2042 but at least there, you were able get the attachments fast (T3)
Now it is both a hell to get to where you can have all the attachments (T2) and there is even more as T1 again.
Things like that make me imagine that if I were to ever meet a dev IRL, I would really have to ask them what the heck are they thinking if they understand that the core of the game is the gameplay and not the unlocks.
