Personally i think crossplay can be a good thing, as it 'merges' the playerbase. And the option to play with controller on a pc, and M&K on console. So players can play on the system they want , with the input they want to use.
Thus simply having the option to disable crossplay, would not exclude controller players in bf6 for pc, yes console players, but people on pc can still use and benefit from the AA for controllers.
A better solution would be , to simply add the choice of input when searching matches. So you can choose to play against controller only, m&k only, or both. No matter the platform one is playing on. And offcourse the input you choose, is the input you have to use yourself.
In general the idea of beeing able to play with other players/friends that have different platforms is good, but as for the pvp side of it,
the fact there has to be a compensation for controller players to even compete against M&K, says enough how this never can work good simultaneously for both sides.
