Netcode is much worst when playing in another region

I'm in the Middle East and the game is mostly dead here, so I often find myself thrown into European servers. There, my lag is usually around 65ms, and the netcode has become considerably worst recently when playing in those circumstances. 

Most common issue is enemy hits getting "compressed". At worst, I will hear and see one hit that one-shots me, but the damage log shows me a more normal number of hits, 4 or 5 or even more. More commonly, I get something that sounds like three hits compressed into one slightly longer one and die in record time. In those two cases, I will die in a way that does not square with the situation as it is presented to me: whether someone turns around and kills me almost instantly or worst, when I start shooting first (and when I don't miss) with expectations of a better TTK and still get steamrolled. 

By the way, I also get to shoot people "into corners" at times now. Someone will be running down a street, usually at some distance, I start shooting, and they take a turn and disappear. AFTER they have turned a corner, and after a slight delay, I get the kill. The cross appears where they were before turning, and the delay is long enough that I am often already aiming somewhere else entirely. 

It is normal when having a bit of lag to be at a handicap, but I have never experienced anything like I do in this game. You get killed at utterly amazing speeds and the discrepancy between my own time to kill and opponents' is very noticeable. Clearly, this is not actually the case, the TTK, depending on weapon, is actually the same I assume, but it's how the game plays out on my screen. It's frustrating, and frankly unplayable in this state. 

I do not experience those issues in the least those rare times I'm playing on ME servers, and they have also become considerably more common recently. But then I also do not experience nothing like this in other games when having to play on European servers. This is BF6 and how it handles a minority of players having a bit of lag. Please fix this.

  • Netcode and desync is worse since they "fixed some of it"

     

    Yo devs why wont you listen to the PC community and let us turn off crossplay?
