My son tried to go against me with his pc a 2060 vs my xbox X...it didnt go too well for him. I said son your trying to compete with a 2000 series card vs a 3060TI that a console is on par with. Basically my Xbox is better and is more powerful than his pc. Why I tell people who are on this consoles are dominating pc. No they are not you just need to upgrade your hardware.
Temperatures are everything. My sons **bleep** pc he had box fans all around it plus took fans from an old pc and hooked them up to his pc just to get his temps lower. Liquid cooling is always better than fans. Since my Alienware is has a cooling system plus fans he could never get his cpu temps or GPU temps as low as mine.
I always used Alienware alot of people give me **bleep** for it but I take advantage of the upgrade turn in they offer. I always have a top of the line PC every year by trading in my old one for a new one. It dont cost me thousands of dollars either since they buy last year's model from me.
Most manufacturers wont do that. Plus Alienware will get you unbanned if they sell you anything that gives you a ban.
He jumps on my pc and we go against each other vs my xbox and he gets me almost everytime. This is why I dont believe all that hype about consoles are out performing pc on bf6. Its simply not true.
The pc players usually saying this are the ones who dont know how to adjust their settings or understand that these consoles are more powerful than the hardware their pc has.
I've watched YouTube videos of guys hitting close to 1000fps...
Im hitting about 500 plus but I have my graphics turned up little higher than they do.
I've gamed with clans and guilds before if your pc isnt hitting 500fps or more they wont let you game with them.
The difference between 1000 fps and 60 to 120 fps is very noticeable and im sure thats what these people are running into. When you add that plus the netcode issue and hit registration issues. Its obvious why.
They buy these high end pcs but dont know how to use them.
That new 500hz monitor is insane. Look into that one. Aswell as a very good network card. A good network card will take all internet traffic and focuses it to the game not to anything running in the background. Those sub 20ms latency numbers are amazing.
The tower of my Alienware alone weighs 75lbs its a beast. Back in 2005 i spent 6k on my Alienware and I had the cops called me multiple times for being loud. I spent 2k on the surround sound alone. It was awesome.
I also use dual graphics cards wired together for better performance and lower GPU temps. Dual cards can work if you know how to do it. I've been running dual cards for over 20 years for a multiple monitor set up.
Since then I have had a top of the line Alienware every year and havent spent more than 1k on it.
Just being able to trade it in every year was worth it.
Why I always said consoles vs pc will just not work.
Its like drag racing a Chevette vs a Corvette. Battlefield cant even make matchmaking balanced they sure the hell cant balance pc and console.
Alot of people here dont realize milliseconds matter. The average person's reaction speed is about 200 to 260 milliseconds. With low tier hardware those milliseconds rise. With high tier hardware those milliseconds stay more realistic.
