Just a few points:
- You can't bunny hop in this game. Repeated jumps have major penalties.
- Slide canceling does not maintain momentum.
- There is no omni-movement in this game. You can't sprint sideways. You can't slide sideways. You can't prone sideways, you can only prone forwards and backwards.
- Jumping, sliding and especially diving to prone come with massive penalties.
- You can't spam slide, there's a delay.
- Sliding locks you into a direction.
- This game does not have a low TTK.
- Jump diving into prone, requires you to first touch the ground.
These constant comparisons to COD are a joke.

I wouldn't call the penalties massive - I recently noticed, that I'm less penalized by jumping and sliding than my opponent who has to adjust his aim.
There should be no shoot while slide and no shoot while jump, since it enhances movement and not gives better shooting options - problem solved.

Sliding and jumping aren't tools that always give you an advantage. In many cases they even offer a significant disadvantage. Sliding is potentially effective within maybe 2-3 meters of an opponent. If you're any further away, you're just locking yourself into place and the enemy can just easily track you. Even if you're within that distance, you both end up having to adjust your aim and the person standing usually only has to drag the aim down slightly and instantly hits a headshot.
The primary reason why sliding works at that range, is because you sometimes end up below the gun model of your opponent, which for a split second makes you slightly harder to see/track.

Maybe just listen to the feedback? People are sprinting like they’re Usain Bolt and then diving 5m in front of them for the gold in long jump. Kind of COD stuff everyone hates. Make the game suck less.

What makes you think I don't listen to the feedback? I don't doubt everyone has their own feelings and preferences, and that's completely fine. Everyone is free to say what they think and feel, just like I am free to offer my own opinion on that matter, even if it disagrees with the feedback.
All I'm doing is offering some observable points that you can verify for yourself. The reason I ridicule comparisons to COD is because people just make up stuff and don't even make an attempt to look at this based on objective observations.

Fun fact: Usain Bolt's world record run was 10.44 meters per second.

i completely agree except about the omni movement that should be the new norm for fps shooters with the realism bf captures being able to run in any direction or prone and just be able to look around without you spinning like a propeller, with the ability to shoot and dive with the cost of recoil control and stability would really capture more of the essence the game gives. oh and the ability to cook the frags cause i havent seen a timer only handles flying when you throw i could be wrong thats not just a cod thing

I don't have the exact quote, but David Sirland mentioned that he didn't want players to have the ability to cook grenades. I'm paraphrasing here, but he didn't think it would be fun if grenades could kill players without them being able to respond to it. Instead he views grenades as area denial tools.
But yes, I'd certainly be in favor of having the ability to look around with just your head and not the rest of your body. It would also open up the ability for you to use an eye tracker like Tobii or TrackIR.
