Not even close
The ground combat is ok, closer to what it was in Battlefield 4 which is good. The destruction is also very nice. But here comes the bad:
- weapon sight reticles...dear good they are the ugliest, nonrealistic &^$%& that I've seen in a fps game. Weapon skins and textures also look pretty bad.
- completely missed the mark on vehicle combat. They insisted to ad the bad mechanics from 1, 5, 2042 with the slow turret turn for ground vehicles. This game is supposed to be fun. BF4 had it to perfection you only had to copy it. The helicopters are just as floaty as in 2042, no improvement there, again you only needed to copy the flight model from bf4. Delta Force has more satisfying vehicle combat than this.
- netcode still bad
- no server browser
- forced crossplay
- hdr looks bad
- can't disable dof during ads
- classes and gadgets choice makes no sense
- only 2 spare magazines when spawning
- very few weapons. only 3 assault rifles? really?
- graphics look washed out and off somehow
- when you spawn inside a vehicle you are in 3rd person. breaks immersion and you have to switch each time. could have put a toggle for it at least
I am going to skip this game. Thanks for the beta.
