OP consoles and their need for aim assist

Hey BF Franchise,

Remember who made you! it wasn't the console players was it? So I'm putting this to you. Why is it that you can send half a clip of an RPK into a console player, they then turn around and two shot kill you. What the actual F**K battlefield! Their abillity to head shot you instantly is bordering on ludicrous.

Please change their aim assist (we know the console children need this 😗)

Thanks heaps

  • Happy to have separate PC and Console lobbies. DICE just needs to add PS and Xbox players together (Xbox X player here).

There is something truly funky about the aiming in this game when it comes to controllers. I've been playing battlefield for a long time along with other shooters and I'm constantly losing 1v1's when I have the drop on someone and I've never experienced it like this before.

I think the servers sometimes dsync. Dsync is when the client (you) isn't seeing the same thing as the server. Then when it syncs together, a bunch of stuff happened that you didn't see. Say for example you shoot someone 5 times, but on the server they are positioned slightly to the left and they shot you several times. You will get hit markers, but your shots actually missed. When you sync with the server, your health bar will immediately be nuked. It looks like you died in 0.1 seconds. Even if you only dsync around a second, it can still feel like you just got 1 shot by an SMG.

Normally games with cross platform have problems with dsync. Its very hard setting up the network infrastructure for crossplay. It's why games with it can be less stable in a lot of cases. Some developers have managed to make it work really well. Hopefully soon BF6 can be improved.

  • I’m a console player and I’ve been playing shooters for a long time and every time I hear a PC player complain about aim assist I sit here and wonder why my aim assist never dose what they are complaining about

because I’ll tell you one thing aim assist on console dose not snap to your head in an instant it barely snaps to your body all it dose is get you close to the target and it’s never actually helped in such a manner as “snapping to the head”

the problem isn’t aim assist the problem is the hacks that people are continuing to get away with
