Permanent BF6 Ban

I’m posting this to see whether anyone else has experienced something similar, particularly on Xbox, because I’m struggling to understand what happened.

My long-standing EA account was permanently disabled following an alleged “Gameplay Enhancement” violation related to Battlefield 6. I’ve played EA games for years and, until this happened, I had never received a warning, suspension, or any other penalty on my account. I play exclusively on Xbox and do not use cheat software, mods, or anything that I believed could provide an unfair advantage.

I submitted an appeal through EA Help, but it was denied. The response stated that the action had been reviewed and upheld, but I wasn’t told what specifically triggered the enforcement, when it allegedly occurred, or what evidence was relied upon. As a result, I still don’t understand what led to my entire EA account being disabled.

The process has also been incredibly difficult to navigate. Communication has been very limited, responses have often taken a long time, and when they do arrive they provide very little information. It’s been frustrating trying to understand the situation when there seems to be no opportunity for a meaningful discussion or clarification.

What has been especially frustrating is that this wasn’t just a Battlefield 6 restriction. Because my EA account was disabled, I lost access to my EA account itself, affecting games and services tied to an account I’ve had for many years without any previous enforcement history.

While searching online, I came across another player’s case where a Battlefield 6 Gameplay Enhancement ban was eventually removed after an additional review. That gave me some hope that these decisions can be revisited, even if they are initially upheld.

I’m not asking anyone to simply take my word for it. I’m genuinely trying to understand whether other Xbox players have experienced something similar and whether anyone has had success requesting an additional review after their appeal was denied.

If you’ve had a Gameplay Enhancement ban or an EA account disabled and were eventually able to resolve it, I’d appreciate hearing what steps you took. Even if your outcome was different, it would be helpful to know whether there are others in a similar situation.
