Let people enjoy games the way they want to. What they are doing does not effect you in any way. You want to go play MP all day go for it. No one is stopping you. But some folks are wanting to stop others from enjoying it the way they want to. 

Personally I'm fine with low XP and no stat saving for bots. Sometimes you have a long day at work you just want to pop in and kill bots by the tons and not deal with sweaty kids who have all day to play. Some of us lack the time to "get gud". Literally not taking away from anyone elses game to let people who also paid for it play the way they want to.

I don't care about XP, I more care about the stat tracking. Any bot kill shouldnt be counted towards your career stats. XP sure go play bots after a long day of work.

How about you just let people play the game that they spent their hard-earned money on just how They want. What's the problem with that, it's not affecting you.

Messing up  the bot progression in 2042 killed portal for all purposes other than weird hardcore settings, weekly missions and AFK XP grind.

As long as the people do not get matched into player hosted serves via the matchmaking, the bots need to be there or there will be no reason to join the server in hopes that enough players will join to make it functional.

Now if people want bot kils to not count in the profile stats like K/D  (or to have a separate Human only Kills and K/D stat), that is another story and has nothing to do with XP
