Proposal: Competitive 2v2 Ranked Mode for Battlefield 6
I’d like to propose a new mode for Battlefield 6:
A compact, round-based 2v2 mode, inspired by Gunfight from Call of Duty MW2 (2022) a format that perfectly combines aim, map knowlege, and teamplay.
Core Gameplay:
- Two teams of two players.
- Identical loadouts for all players, roating every 2 rounds. No meta setups, no excuses.
- Short round timer of about 40 seconds.
- If neither team is eliminated by then -> Stage 2: A flag spwans in the center, with a 10 second timer. The team with less HP must capture the flag or eliminate the enemy before time runs out to win the round.
- Best of 6 or Best of 9 format.
Why this has potential:
- Fast, intense matches with high competitive tension.
- Perfect for Ranked: aim, map control, quick decision making, and clear comms are key.
- E-sports ready: small maps, short rounds, high spectator appeal, and plenty of clutch moments.
This mode could attract both current and new players, give Battlefield a strong competitive plattform, and bring in players who are still playing older CoDs purely for Gunfight.
