    I haven't heard about TPM version but SecureBoot is required to be enabled in your BIOS for the anti-cheat

    No, bro, it's not working with that. TPM 2.0 is required to play the game. That is too bad because of the cheaters; lots of legit players can't play the game. Please try to lower that requirement because a lot of people have secure boot but don't have TPM. EA, please think about it; personally, I have played Battlefield 4, 1, V, and 2042, and now this upcoming title. I have already thought not to buy that game because of that issue. I have every requirement to play the game, but I don't have TPM, but I have secure boot and other requirements. I know those new anti-cheats need that kind of new equipment, but try to lower that requirement, at least the TPM requirement.

    For what it's worth, if your motherboard has a slot for it, you can buy a TPM2.0 module and insert it. That isn't a great way around it, but it would allow you to play the game and last I checked they weren't expensive.

    Hey everyone!

    I can currently launch the beta "v1.0.370.35096" without TPM. It's off for me (TPM 1.2), and it will stay that way. Let's see if EA releases an update for the upcoming 7.8 that makes it "explicitly" required.

    By the way, Secure Boot is only required for Battlefield 2042 if the system has that feature.

    I quote as follows:

    Quote/Beginning;
    SECURE BOOT REQUIREMENT FOR SUPPORTED HARDWARE
    Starting with update 8.8.0 for Battlefield 2042, Secure Boot must be enabled for supported PC hardware. This increases trust and security when playing EA titles. As cheat developers evolve their tactics, we have to keep up.

    To keep Battlefield 2042 fair and fun for everyone, we're strengthening our defenses, especially against cheats that try to sneak in during the Windows boot process. This supports our commitment to positive gameplay and ensures a level playing field for all players.

    If you attempt to load the game after Update 8.8.0 without Secure Boot on hardware that supports it, you'll receive a message stating that Secure Boot is required. Secure Boot is a feature available for Windows 11 and Windows 10 devices. For more information on enabling this functionality, see our EA Help article here.
    Quote/end.

    This could eventually be applied to Battlefield 6 as well.

    Regards, Fred.

    why can i play 2042 just fine, but when trying to launch Bf6 beta it gives me the issues/message of secure boot...

    Bios says its on..

    and can run 2042 no problems..

     make it make sense because their approach is horribly wrong. and is going to cost EA alot in the long run..
