Ranking up weapons still sucks

Question

The 15% XP rate increase for weapon was a joke. Even with double weapon XP on top it still takes too long. No one cares about unlocking weapon skins, we want to unlock the attachments that make guns actually useful. God forbid some of the attachments necessary to make a weaker gun even remotely close to a meta weapon are gated above level 30, then it's basically a full day of agony to try and make it useful.

The current weapon XP rates and unlock system absolutely obliterate even the semblance of gun variety in this game.

The PP-19 was fine to get to level 50. The DB-12 was not. THIS was the worst experience I have ever had in any videogame.

I can get a weapon to level 20 in about one match, level 50 in maybe a few hours of playing. Even less with double EXP.Seems fine to me.

I feel like the pace is fine up until about level 40. Feels like it comes to a halt after that, especially when its a gun that kinda sucks *cough*PP-19*cough* lol.

I really miss the good old days in 2042 when you only needed 360 kills to unlock all the attachments for a single gun.
