it's about hearing the character and other characters nearby.  Sometimes it can be a little annoying, and a little reminder about the overall political climate that always seems to seep into games these days.  It's like political slop and I get why some companies feel bullied into it.  I won't stop playing the game because of this by any means.

By the way, what monumental issues are you seeing?  Technical, gameplay? So far the only gameplay issue I see is when you get shot your accuracy isn't affected.  For example I was shooting an enemy within 5m with a machine gun and connecting shots, the other player got me with two shots while he was being shot.  Wasn't a headshot either.  Or the occasional gravity boosts?  Monumental issue would be something that breaks the game or impedes the game in a way that makes it unplayable or unenjoyable.
