RedSec Casual Mode is not casual at all

I was really looking forward to the new RedSec Casual mode because it was advertised as a more relaxed experience where players would mostly face bots.

That is simply not the reality.

Every match I've played has been full of extremely sweaty players. It doesn't feel casual in any way. If there are bots, they are such a small part of the match that you barely notice them. The mode feels just as competitive as the regular playlists.

On top of that, forcing everyone to queue as a squad of four makes no sense for a casual mode. Why can't we choose to queue solo, just like in Call of Duty? Not everyone wants to rely on random teammates or coordinate with a full squad when they're just looking to relax.

Right now, this mode completely fails to deliver what was promised:

  • Far too many sweaty players.
  • Not enough bots to create a relaxed experience.
  • No solo queue option.
  • Overall, it doesn't feel casual at all.

Please either significantly increase the amount of bots in Casual mode or improve the matchmaking so players who want a relaxed experience actually get one. And please add a solo queue option.

At the moment, calling this "Casual" feels misleading.

  • Normal BR is actually casual too, because it's not ranked. But casual doesn't even make sense except for modes that no one wants to play. Because any mode that people actually want to play will attract people, and all sorts of people. For example, competitive players will be attracted to casual because it's almost impossible to player against the top teams in ranked or normal. They will wipe you 9 in 10 times, and that's multiplied by the base win-chance of 1 in 25. So, you either have to play when those teams are not on, and some of these guys are on all day and night or jump into casual to even have a real chance at getting a win.

The main issue is the player-base, because that determines if a matchmaking system of the kinds they use can work. But EA don't know how to hold on to customers. One of their big issues, is the bug-count. BF6 is the buggiest game I have ever played. It's easily 10-20x buggier than games I have stopped playing and refunded within days of purchase due to bugs. The only reason I tolerate it, is because its Battlefield. But any other game I will refund immediately. I guess a lot of people feel the same way.

    Current BF6 players : 34,000
Starcraft 2 players : 150k - 700k monthly over the past few years. (A 15 year old game)

LOL. Blizzard understands software quality, So people can jump in and play games, and 99.9 % of the time, you don't even see a bug. Whereas EA, they really have no idea. It's the buggiest game ever, they really should face a class action for selling a game that is so broken at launch and throughout it's first year.

People should perhaps make some suggestions about what they could do, here are mine...

    * Fix the bugs!!!!!!!!!! - and that's not enough exclamation marks for this game. But note that they have already lost most of their customers because the game wasn't anywhere near ready at launch.
    * Add a real ranked system that lets you mostly play against similar players with point scaling when you play against a team of a different skill level (they kinda do this, but it doesn't have a real effect if ace teams are still matched in with mid/low level teams). And I should note that starcraft lets a bronze player join a diamond player no problem, and there is no issue there. EA restrict teams within 2 ranks - a useless restriction that doesn't solve anything except further fragment the player base.

And IMHO - there shouldn't be casual at all - because it's not real. There should only be ranked with people able to play in the lower ranks at their skill level where it is inherently more casual. Casual isn't a thing that EA can make and force on you. It's a thing that happens at lower ranks.
