Remove Bot Kills/Deaths from Bots on stats

There’s no place in a multiplayer shooter videogame for bots to be counted towards stats. You removed bot kills but in the last Ice Lock update you brought them back. I’ve seen peoples KDs go from 0.80 to 260.0 because all they do is sit in bot lobbies for months shooting lines of unarmed Bots with LMGs. Remove bot kills & remove deaths from bots. The XP collected from bots is fine. If all they want to do is sit afk in portal lobbies & collect Rank that’s on them. Bots should be treated like fillers for lobbies not as actual kills. It takes no skill to kill a bunch of bots who barely shoot back & line up for you to kill them. Your watering down the competitive/common sense player base to appease to the sub/mid players who just want artificially inflate their KDs to look good. The stat page just me comes moot at that point. This just leads down the careless route where nobody takes the game seriously. Score per minute could be reimplemented for those who think it’s a more valid analytic. For me personally this is just game breaking/ immersion breaking. There’s no longer any reward incentive system in place to actually preform your best. No way to see gauge improvement.  It just becomes a watered down experience that’ll drain from down its playerbase.

nicpatino92 Cool so if it doesn’t matter you shouldn’t care when they take bots out of actual stats again. You don’t check anyways after all. Unless your one the people who pad your stats with thousands of bot kills.

Agreed, no bot kills/deaths should count. You should probably just get rid of bots. It's kinda dumb, because then you have to work through all these bots to get to people. Just get rid of the bots. Who asked for bots?

  • It's so funny to see how fragile competitive players are lol. They complain about anything that caters to a more casual audience, and that doesn't prop these competitive players up like the gods they think they are.

Why does someone else's K/D matter to you? This is a video game. It's used as a means to have fun and pass the time. This isn't real life; there's nothing on the line, you dont get money or a prize for having a more legitimate KD or stats than anyone else.

    Who cares?

You have your opinion and millions of other people have theirs.

How can the stats of millions of people possibly break anyone's "immersion"?   -that's just your personal issue

Most people could care less what anyone else's statistics are. Why should they, since it has nothing to do with anything important.

You play the game your way, and the millions of other players will play it their way.

I think assists could be counted towards k/d. My shots do 90% of the damage and the person that does 10% receives full credit.

However, these stats are meaningless numbers that count for nothing.

I personally don't share the numbers and made my profile private

People are going to find the most trivial things to whine about and post their opinions about it.  Meanwhile, over 99% of the gamers just play and don't waste their time reading the opinions of others and just enjoy the game

  • This is Battlefield, not CoD. Play the objective, help your team / squad and don't worry about your K/D. Winning the game is the incentive. One of my friends I play with is always near the top of the leader boards in points but might only break even on K/D since he's a crazy medic but he has fun and helps the team which are the more important things. There's enough that needs to be legitimately fixed without whinging about K/D
