Remove the "destroy aircraft" challenges

Question

So, to go along all the "choppers are too strong" threads: I have a "destroy 10 aircrafts" challenge. It's one of the Top Gun ones, so it's no re-rollable. I assume it's completely trivial for jet pilots, but I'm not one, and finding an available jet can be kind of hard.

So I go in with a launcher, say a Stinger. First, I need to get a shot off, which is rare: the aircraft is too low, it's too close, it's too far, or it's flaring. But hey, I finally get one off. Well sometimes it misses. But hey, I finally get a hit in. Well, that's not good enough, is it?, now it goes away. And the various AA alternatives are not much better. And of course to top it off assists don't work the way they should.

I've been going at it all weekend, I got three. With the state of anti-air the way it is, please remove those challenges, right now they're just dumb.

I don't know what DICE was thinking, but in Carrier Assault, you can infiltrate the enemy carrier right from the start of the match. It’s a challenge where you simply hide on the flight deck and hit the aircraft with an RPG just as they’re about to take off. It definitely needs to be fixed, but I don't think DICE understands that, so it will likely remain as is.

I tried doing that one as infantry initially, but gave up and just did it in the Gauntlet jet event mode. Finished it now one round, although I did die a lot in the process.

I may try that, I was just stuck on doing it in my usual Escalation matches, but it's incredibly frustrating. And I'm not keen on using an "exploit".&nbsp;

Oh, and I forgot the "I finally got a lock on I'm going to fire BAM shot to the head I'm dead because I stayed immobile like an idiot staring at the sky" scenario.&nbsp;

Yes, it was very frustrating trying to do it in Escalations, Carrier Assault Conquest. I'd probably still be working on it if I hadn't used the Top Gun event mode. Think I managed 3 kills in as many games before I hopped to that.&nbsp;
