Question

It's bad. I reported a player for using slurs against people. Normally I would not even look at chat but this person was outright homophobic abusing people because he died multiple times.

I get an email "We did not take action" yet, I say holy **bleep**, or **bleep** hell and I get a 30 day ban on my account for "Language that is not tolerated on our snowflake platform".

If your going to be snowflakes, actually penalize those who BREAK the rules, not one's who use everyday language.

Are you serious? FFS EA. Nearly every game of BR is filled with abusive / racist chat. It's worse than being inappropriate, you're enabling these people and giving them a platform on which to abuse people.

Let people talk how they wanna talk, its an 18+ game for a reason, there is language used in game by the characters, why cant players use the same exact language in a mature game, yall are really REALLY soft.

Some of the chat is actually in breach of the law. Talking about burning racial groups and hurting particular people or groups. that's not just swearing like the characters, and these people aren't characters in the game, they are real people, saying real things.

I think it's EA that's soft, they need to take a firm stance against in game abuse and hate speech.
