Request: Separate Controller & Mouse/Keyboard Matchmaking on PS for Battlefield

Dear EA and the Battlefield Development Team,

I am a loyal PlayStation player who has been with the Battlefield franchise since 2017. I have put well over 1,000 hours into Battlefield 1 alone, and I have always loved and supported this series on console.

I would never claim to be a highly skilled player, but after more than a thousand hours of experience, I believe I am at least more familiar with the game than most new players trying the series for the first time. Even so, I have been having an extremely poor experience in Battlefield 6 due to mouse and keyboard support on consoles. If a long-time player like myself struggles to enjoy the game, I can only imagine how discouraging it must be for new players looking to get into Battlefield on PlayStation.

The core issue is that controller players are matched directly against mouse and keyboard players, creating an unfair and unbalanced experience. Mouse and keyboard offer vastly superior precision, aim speed, and movement control that controller aim assist cannot compensate for. Worse still, there is currently no way to avoid playing against mouse and keyboard users—even with crossplay disabled, console players still face other console users playing with mouse and keyboard or adapters.

As a long-time fan, I sincerely ask the team to take action to restore fairness for console controller players. I strongly request that you implement separate matchmaking pools for controller and mouse/keyboard users on PlayStation. This would not only protect existing loyal players but also make the game far more welcoming for new players.
