Retake mode matchmaking is broken and unfair

Hello Battlefield Team,

I am writing to you as a former Call of Duty player who switched to Battlefield because Call of Duty has become full of cheaters and is no longer enjoyable.

I bought Battlefield with the expectation that I would finally have a fair, normal shooter to relax with. At first everything was fine – I enjoyed the game, I learned the mechanics, played the training modes and casual multiplayer.

But from around level 100, the experience became completely unplayable.

In training modes like Retake and even in casual multiplayer, I am constantly matched against extremely skilled, high-level players who clearly play every day for many hours. I am a normal player with a job and responsibilities – I cannot compete with players who treat the game like a full-time job.

Today was the breaking point. I was being destroyed from every angle and could not do anything meaningful in the match. It no longer feels like training or casual play – it feels like punishment.

Many people around me feel the same way. When I ask friends or players in my community, they all say that Battlefield has become unplayable because hardcore veterans are mixed with casual “weekend” players in the same lobbies.

If this does not change, I will uninstall the game and return to Call of Duty – and I know I am not the only one considering this.

Please, implement proper skill-based matchmaking or at least protect casual and beginner players in training and casual modes. Otherwise Battlefield will continue to lose normal players who just want a fair game.
