Server Browser

Battlefield vet for over 10 years now. We all have more than 3 friends that play. We stopped playing 2042 because it was frustrating and annoying to try and play with your clan and friends. huge reason 2042 tanked and we switched to ARMA. you could put the whole clan of 30 on the same side and battle all day. Love that game. ARMA 4 is dropping in 2027 so listen to the community and add an official server browser...

Hi there,

I'm happy to let you know that Server Browser will enter Battlefield Labs testing ahead of its planned release in Season 5 as part of Phase 3, giving players an early opportunity to try the feature and help us refine the experience.

We are also exploring how the Server Browser can support a more persistent match flow, make it easier to remain with other players between rounds, and complement the existing matchmaking experience.

We will share a closer look at the Server Browser interface and the options available for finding servers as Battlefield Labs testing approaches. For now, here’s what we can share with you on our progress.

If they are in portal it would most likely still mean the player base is split via portal servers and sbmm servers spooling up and down. Then split by game mode, then split by open or closed weapons of those game modes.
At least in let's say BF3/4 you hit find match you would end up in one of those official servers that's also available in the server browser. If they make it so normal matchmaking fills official servers in portal and it's a step in the right direction.

So many gamers show up to be a part of the hype and explosions, but suck at fps games, bf6 was built for those players, by those developers

A server Browser would take this game over the top and make it unforgettable.

Server browser is what keeps games alive. Look at games like Mordhau for more "recent" examples. The game has at most 1 or 2 lobbies with people in it during peak hours. But the match making is horrid. Thanks to the server browser you can quickly just join the good lobbies. This saves games, I really hope EA and Dice use their brains here...

Battlefield 6 needs a Server Browser like games before 2042, for the good of the game, the players/community.
