Since when is it ok for a player to tell other players to go kill themselves

So this person was being really abusive and uncontrollably asinine during 2 matches of escalation. His main use of power was the in-game chat on BF6. Now mind you we all have been in games where our teams are bad or just inexperienced or we are having a bad day. First match was nothing but cussing and calling everyone under God's green earth every expletive in the Websters dictionary that you can say to someone, and all I said was " look, go take a nap " ie you must be having a bad day type comment not meaning anything bad by it. Second match, here he goes again, closer to the end of the match, same mo, and all I said was go take a nap. His response " Go ahead and kill your. Yourself" " Or are you gonna tell your mommy" infront of 63 other players, that's when almost everyone started saying along the lines " hey bro, you can say that, you can get into alot of s##t for that" or " that's a big no no" or " being reported for the comment". His repsonce " Ea won't do s##t neither will Xbox lol" along those lines.

My question is in all my years of playing battlefield since BF2 I have never had anyone say this to me and Im struggling on how games have come this far for someone to basically want someone to end their life because your having a bad day or bad game or just pissed at the world. I am not a clean apple, I have done my far share of stupid stuff in the past but this, this is just absolutely taking it to another level.

Already reported the person to EA and Xbox. I do have screenshot of what transpired of the level of abuse that he did during both games but I won't post them on here or anywhere. I just want to game and yes I do get heated sometimes but I would never want you to end your life over a game.

  • Did you report the player.  If you did, EA will do something, or the Federal Government will, since this game falls under FCC rules.

  • mute him, I'm 100% against all censorship, but if people are saying **bleep** like that mute them and report.

Life is too short to waste time on stupid people (in this crazy world) with their own problems – such people should be immediately silenced (mute) and ignored (the lack of response to his actions will hurt him more than, in most cases, ineffective reporting of that person).

On the other hand, let's not act like "flower children" and bother the game developers with every such issue.
