Sliding + jumping, next thing will be running on walls or some other cod **bleep**?

Strangely enough the only sound effect that seems to work is the sound of peeps sliding 🤣

but if we're talking about a mechanic that Battlefield has never had and unfortunately happens in every match you play... after spending €€ maybe the post on the forum is really worth it.

I agree, Dice won't change it though because the "data" will say everyone loves it.

I've started practicing it while aiming in the shooting range, can't beat em join em.

Im an OG BF player and i use it all the time when the recons sitting in the corner of a map are taking shots at me. Im happy it pisses off those players.

At this point it’s inevitable, biggest issue though it the netcode just can’t handle the sudden movement/direction changes, this has been a notorious issue with nearly every single Battlefield ever.

Just today someone went from standing still to sliding 10m passed me.

I mean, Battlefield 1, Battlefield V and Battlefield 2042 had a slide. If you want to talk about jump shooting instead, we can go back all the way to Battlefield 1942. Perhaps you'd like to talk about dolphin diving instead, because we could do that in Battlefield 2.

Exactly, also don’t forget the vaulting in BF3.

These things become popular to use (abuse) because they give an advantage

To be fair in BF6 it’s very rare to see someone slide, BFV was way way way worse.

I personally use it defensively a lot to get to cover

It’s trash and looks absolutely absurd. Any clown saying “oh it was all the rage back in BF4 even” are lying sacks of garbage.  

BF1 is DICE’s pinnacle achievement for Battlefield. Now DICE has sold out to the Fortnite kiddies and COD bois. Tiny maps with almost zero cover on half the objectives in order to cater to snipers. Look at the circus jump shooting trash and the clown like bright orange and neon green skins. ETA on the Santa hat skin? 

RIP Battlefield. It died after BF1. GG DICE. 

Yeah very stupid mechanics. At least you shouldn't be able to shoot 1 sec after jumping or sliding
