Look this is battlefield pretty much a giant mmo but historically you could play the campaign offline, singleplayer and without and internet connection. Do yall think that’s gonna be the case here? I sure hope so it’s a nice option to have if you wanna play battlefield and the internet goes out or something.
If it is going to be like BO6, then we'll need to ask why... let's hope that it doesn't need internet to play. Winters in Alaska can knock it out
BF6 doesn't seem to require a Battlelog, so might as well be that the singleplayer will be playable offline. Though, they might require a constant Internet connection at all times as a DRM, so idk. Hopefully, that won't be needed for the campaign, at least. And hopefully, we'll also get an offline bot mode a-la Instant Action from BF1942-2142/Battlefront 2, but that's probably just wishful thinking on my part.
Confirmed you have to have internet to play offline (steam offline) it won’t let you to the menu screen without it.
