Spawn Beacon Mechanic is Game-Breaking in Instant Respawn Modes (Needs Cooldown)
Hello Developers and Community,
I am writing to report a serious balance issue concerning the Spawn Beacon mechanic within a specific game mode in Battlefield 6.
The issue occurs in the Instant Respawn Mode (the mode where there is no respawn timer). The current mechanic allows players to deploy the Spawn Beacon immediately after they spawn.
This creates a severely exploitable and highly overpowered (OP) situation.
The Problem: Beacon Spamming
By allowing immediate deployment, players can infinitely "corner rush" or aggressively push choke points and objectives. As soon as a player dies, they respawn instantly and place a new beacon right away, allowing them to constantly cycle rushes from a very advantageous, forward position. This constant spawn spamming breaks the flow of the game mode.
If a single player can do this, imagine the impact when an entire squad, or even the entire team, coordinates this strategy. It results in unstoppable, zero-consequence objective pushing.
The Proposed Solution: Cooldown
To resolve this imbalance, a cooldown must be implemented for placing the Spawn Beacon immediately after a player spawns.
This cooldown should be long enough to prevent players from deploying the beacon instantly after an instant respawn, thereby eliminating the ability to spam the spawn location and abuse the mechanic.
Thank you for your attention to this urgent balancing issue.
