Suggestions for Diversifying Battlefield Vehicles

My apologies if any translation issues caused by my limited English skills have inadvertently burdened the community staff. I utilized AI translation and conducted thorough proofreading to the best of my ability.

To increase the diversity of vehicle options in Battlefield 6, I suggest adding the Russian 2K22 Tunguska gun-missile air defense system and the Serbian HARPAS gun-missile air defense system. Incorporating these two anti-air systems would not only enhance visual variety but also diversify gameplay mechanics.

The uniqueness of the 2K22 Tunguska lies in its missiles. The 9M311 missile uses radio command guidance and consists of a large first-stage booster and a second-stage unpowered section. The first stage accelerates the missile to an extreme speed of 1,300 m/s within 2.6 seconds. During the initial 1.5 km of flight, the missile travels almost straight without significant maneuverability. After the first stage is jettisoned, the second stage begins maneuvering. Since the second stage does not require a booster, its warhead is exceptionally large, making it highly effective against aircraft. In terms of guidance, although the 9M311 missile requires the optical sight's line of sight for guidance—similar to wire-guided missiles—in the most typical engagement process, the targeting is automated by the system. Thus, the operational procedure remains comparable to infrared or radar-guided missiles.

If the 2K22 Tunguska were implemented in Battlefield 6, its missile component could be designed to require continuous player lock-on. The missile would fly straight like a rocket for the first 100 meters after launch, after which it would gain exceptional maneuverability to chase aircraft. Unlike Stinger missiles, which take shortcuts to lead targets, this missile would follow the direct line between the launch vehicle and the target. Due to its large warhead and unconventional trajectory, the missile could be designed as a high-damage weapon, representing a high-skill, high-reward vehicle. As for its anti-aircraft guns, the 2K22 Tunguska is equipped with two 2A38 double-barreled cannons, totaling four barrels, with a combined rate of fire as high as 5,000 rounds per minute. This could be translated into in-game mechanics as an anti-aircraft gun with an extremely high fire rate but lower damage per shot.

The HARPAS (see attached image for reference) is another distinctive gun-missile air defense system. Its chassis is based on the Serbian M-84 tank, a Yugoslav-produced version of the well-known T-72 tank. Its missiles are domestically produced Serbian versions of the K-13 missile, available in both infrared-guided (RLN-TK) and radar-guided (RLN-RF) variants. These could be designed as two player-selectable anti-air missile options. The anti-aircraft gun component features two 40mm Bofors L/70 anti-aircraft guns, which have a relatively slower rate of fire. This could be implemented as a slow-firing but high-damage anti-aircraft gun.

The diverse vehicle system in the Battlefield series should not only differ in appearance but also offer a wider variety of gameplay experiences.
