As the title already says, the changes to XP for bot kills should be reverted or adjusted
Why? Quite simple: the game was marketed and sold with the clear intention that normal progression would be possible in the verified Portal mode.
The changes to XP from bot kills contradict this statement and the related product descriptions.
I don’t have enough time to unlock all the attachments in PvP to stay competitive — the same goes for the challenges. Thru my limited time, I already gotin laser beamed thru weapons with full attachments.
Therefore, this description of the product was one of the main reasons I decided to buy the game.
Are XP farm servers with weird custom scripts a problem?
Yes, they definitely are.
But normal experiences without any special scripts or other nonsense are completely acceptable. Therefor change the xp from 10 to 50 (as a compromise) or reverd them.
We already got the problem that we cant host a portal server because of the limited hosting slots.. which negativ impact is already enough.
Players like me, also purchased your game (under your marketing premise) so dont threat us like customers of the titanic third class. Why you asking? Becaus we are going to spend money also on battle passes and co.. but some will not if you den reverd your xp nerf and if you dont come up with more portal slots.
So, they gave us an option to play against bots and progress. Certain people bought the game because it was sold as full progression, playing against bots, and one server per player.
I know disabled people who only play against bots, as PVP is just fast and frantic for them.
Now they have had their progression taken away from them, only weeks into release.
People saying ban bots, or gimp the XP... why?
Its not actually affecting their games.... other than the servers are full message. Which, to be fair is ALL on EA. They promised a server per player... and that certainly hasnt happened.
People farming XP, rewards, unlocks, and so on... does NOT affect PVP gameplay.
Ree, because like 3 people care about their K/D, which they could of just made it so bot kills don't add to it but instead they just straight up make portal useless now. Enjoy the player drop off I guess
It's false advertising at its finest. I bought this game under false pretenses. I can't get a refund. However, I can certainly discourage others from making the same mistake I did.
I completely agree! It doesn't affect anything on real pvp servers that I got the add-ons and my rank against bots. I don't have time to spend 2-4 hours a day in the game, and if I do, I simply don't have the experience of success because everyone is more experienced and plays against me with better stuff. It's very disappointing.... I could easily allow them to have vanilla rules, e.g. conquest servers against bots, and I would even be in favor of having 50% mastery xp here.
I'm not buying another ea game again they pull you in then change what they advertise.
We expected polish, something to preserve.
We fire off one hundred bullets, and they have no damage.
