And as if this wasn’t enough, now the bot fill system is broken too in Official Matchmaking. It used to be that when there weren’t enough players, bots would fill the rest so the match could actually start simple, effective, fair. That’s what kept things playable in low-player count regions where finding a full lobby isn’t always possible. But now, it doesn’t even fill enough to reach the minimum player count. The result? The round never starts, and those same players are completely locked out of official matchmaking. It’s punishing people just for living in smaller regions or playing during off-peak hours. This change makes NO SENSE at all and fails to address the matchmaking problems people were facing, lobbies will still be split up after this, the same maps will continue to repeat over and over, and it makes me feel like this will still be a problem years from now just like with 2042. Yeah, it's so funny that they didn't even think this through. They sent Portal straight to hell and broke even Official Matchmaking because it uses bots as well. I hope that the people who wanted that realize that this is not the right way and it's not a good patch at all.
