I bought BF6 because I could play against bots. But really, what's wrong with earning unlocks vs bots? It's not that I don't play multiplayer: I do. It's not that don't enjoy BF6's multiplayer: I think it's a LOT of fun. But I can't make progress in BF6 because I'm OLD. I'm older than PONG and the Ethernet. I listened to 8 track tapes when they were new. I have arthritis, I wear bifocals, I have nerve damage on the right half of my body, and I'm slow. This is not a "git gud" condition. I'm just old. So why did I buy a multiplayer game? I've bought every Battlefield except Vietnam, BFBC1, and 1943, and although I played 2142 once, it wasn't mine. I like the series.
But I'm disappointed that they've removed the ability to unlock weapons and attachments against bots. Unlocking things is fun and satisfying, and if I unlock a few things, I don't think that hurts other players: not at my age. But, oh well. I can still unlock things in 2042.
And while we're on the topic: why are BF6's challenges so over-the-top? Some of those challenges to unlock weapons and attachments seem a bit much.
