Just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to write that up. I had been trying to plan something to type and hadn't gotten around to it. When I play by myself (without a few others over discord) I tend to work towards attachment unlocks in classes/guns that I don't often use in main PvP fights (sniper rifles and DMRs, for example), as I'm not very good with them, and I feel like I'm letting my team down if I spend an entire match sitting back and practicing range finding and timing, etc. Playing on a bot-backfilled official experience or CQ or Breakthrough in Portal let me be more relaxed and have fun practicing. Nowm without any progressiong towards unlocking the items there's far less reason to do it (to not be able to unlock and try new ones, that is).
I don't care about leaderboards and that stuff, I also didn't go to the braindead zombie levels, but not essentially everything was nerfed 6 feet under.
