You've just completely screwed over a large portion of the player base just now by turning off weapon and attachment XP in portal servers.
I don't have time to play this game all day every day. I will never be able to be on par with other players without being able to unlock attachments and weapons faster. It takes incredibly long in a normal match for casual folks like me to unlock stuff.
I am a legitimate player who plays breakthrough and conquest matches against bots. I am too old and this game is sometimes too fast for me. I just want to relax after work and kill some bots with my friends, or by myself.
Now, i can't. I'm out until this is changed. This was the last straw for me. EA just completely screwed a lot of us over.
It's a piece of software, nothing less, nothing more. I buy it and use it and childish people get all butt-hurt about it. It's not my problem. This game is a joke anyway ... what game? there's just a handful of guns and the vehicles are a joke even compared to older BF games. After around 40 hours of the "Angry Chic' Army" background noise I was done anyway. If this is a Shooter, it's a weird one made by weird people to torture their base. Making fun games is easy if you've ever played any. Anybody on this forum could make a better game. Anybody.
It might not offer you any solace, but you should read Helen Andrews' article entitled The Great Feminization. It puts forward some very convincing arguments that could quite easily be transposed onto the makeup of present-day DICE, if you take a look at their website.
Many critics (outside the non critical wastescape that is IGN, etc) are right in saying the future is indie. **bleep** these greedy publishers. **bleep** EA.
