I believe the real solution is to have the Co-Op missions like Battlefield 2042 added to Battlefield 6 where you can get XP and unlock weapon attachments up to a certain level.

Then, when you were ready, you could do multiplayer matches with certain skills and appropriately accessorized weapons.
