The Portal XP Nerf and the Betrayal of "Full Progression" - Targeted Solutions

I'm a working person and I really don't want to come after work and farm my xp with sweaty gamers. I was happy when I could play with my friends after work, but now there's no pleasure! What difference does it make to you whether people will increase xp or not? You already sold the game, so let people enjoy it! People exploit bugs and thus ruin the game for others, then you better destroy our pleasure too! bring back boots, with progressive xp, like it was before!
