So I just found out and verified that there are no bots allowed on verified portal experiences. The option to backfill is greyed out.
So what's the point of portal? Even MP has bots. No bots at ALL? How do you plan to fill your servers?
I thought we'd be able to unlock weapons and attachments vs bots. What happened to that? I'm old. I wear bifocals. I have arthritis. I have nerve damage. I bought this game thinking I could play vs bots like in 2042.
Instead, I have two choices: go into MP where I can't unlock anything because I get killed every 20 seconds by people sprinting and sliding and bunny-hopping all over the place like crazy and coming at me from literally every direction, or play portal for no xp, no unlocks, no rewards.
Dice, I'm disappointed.
yeah im pretty bummed out. I learned how to mod games back in the day by path-noding Unreal-1 bots at Planet Unreal for custom maps. Even back then, there was a big audience for it. Was looking forward to getting back to my roots and doing it here, but oh well, lol.
