I was planning on buying BF6 after the season 1 patch, definitely won't be doing that now. I'm sure I won't be the only one. I'll keep my £60 thanks EA, so glad I didn't buy this on day one believing all the marketing about full XP in PvE.
Worst possible handling of the whole bot farming situation - this is no way to treat a community that values both PvE and PvP. I have never personally used a bot farm and I never would, I just want to be able to enjoy the game in a more relaxed PvE setting if I feel like it. But why would I do that if XP progression is non-existent?
I'll hold off on buying until they HOPEFULLY walk back this decision or find a fairer solution - I would even take slightly reduced XP / progression in PvE if it meant keeping bots as an option.
Poor decision making EA, feels like you haven't really thought this one through. Sort it out before you lose more players.
