My play time and overall excitement for this game has dropped dramatically since this change.
My greatest moments and greatest joy playing battlefield or any game for that matter is the ability to let my creative juices flow, and create games and experiences that are free of PVP gamers who literally play games professionally.
The solution is simple. Allow bots to backfill. If the rules are official and it’s a verified mode. You get full XP, or even half XP. I’ll take that.
Easy fix. Everyone’s happy
I was excited to play this on release day, I grabbed it in advance off of Amazon.
What a Pi*&$r it is now, nothing nearly as good as the first week was.
I can't believe that they don't seem to learn from past mistakes. That's the ultimate definition of stupidity, just keep doing something the same way, thinking something is going to change!
I don't think I have ever seen a forum so full of resentment for the stupid mentally challenged mistake they have made here.
I hope they return it to how it was, and rapidly too before they lose so many players that the game will just die off so quickly, that is when the COD players have got bored to death with it, because right now each time I play it that's exactly what it feels like I am playing, COD, definitely not Battlefield.
If this is them going "Back to the roots of Battlefield" then they need to get a landscaper in, because they have dug in the wrong place.
Oh, and if I were one of the developers right now I would be thinking, 6,800 views, 242 Likes and 724 comments! We need to do something here, we have whizzed off far too many people to simply ignore this.
Not all players want to run around bunny hopping, sweating 24/7, spray shooting.
How about some team work, playing the objective, maybe throw in the odd revive, and god forbid they help you by dropping any ammo.
No wonder so many want to go back to bot matches and SOLO / Coop mode.
Right now, I feel like they should make a BF6 add-on expansion just for the players that want to play against the bots. I'd pay a small fee for that.
There has been a more resentful forum - well, I'd say, MANY, but a number of those persistently get deleted because people are extremely restricted in what they say here. For example, the 500+ page thread in 2042 demanding a server browser. Which they ignored. To the point that they didn't even incorporate it in BF6 EITHER, but LIED and said they would! (500 pages = 5,000+ responses)
I even pointed out a huge bug and solution to it in one of my posts a long time back, which was entirely deleted because I expressed the generic incompitence imbedded in the matter. They'd rather have a big problem with no solution than permit somebody to express a factually based negative opinion.
Notice how their forums are now needlessly complicated so you can't even scroll by page you have to click "show more comments" so it's much harder to find my last comment and those who might have replied to it now.
