I am beyond disappointed in EA and Battlefield Studios. They misrepresented Portal mode, which was a large reason why I bought the game. I even downloaded the Godot engine tools and was planning to learn how to make custom maps and modes. The bots would add to the experience but not be the core focus of it. My friends and I were going to play it FOR FUN. Not to exploit XP. Instead, EA feels it is better to exploit its users who already paid $70+. They offer paid tier skips where you can whip out your credit card for XP, but heaven forbid you just want to relax and play with friends and some bots after work without feeling like you're 'wasting' your time (not getting any battle pass progress).
This game had everything it needed to be for me. It was perfect. Such a difficult thing to achieve, and you did it...you made a near-perfect game. It's a pity that this greed has blinded you guys. I am so bummed out by these portal XP nerfs and feel there is a better way. Limit weekly XP or whatever you want to do to make it enticing to casuals while not allowing people to farm it 24/7 if you have to. But you completely ruined it. Shame on you guys. I am no lawyer but I would hope that if this doesn't change it can lead to a class action lawsuit for the bait and switch you pulled.
